Tentipi Safir CP7 & Eldfell woodstove in use, camping Washington USA

Same video, just rotated the image right-side up. Testing our new Tentipi Safir CP 7 with Eldfell wood stove, on a late April 2010 camping trip up to rainy Lopez in the San Juan islands, puget sound Washington state. 2 days/nights of wind and rain with some nice sun breaks thrown in. The Tentipi did well as did the stove. No leaks or malfunctions. Very easy to set up and pack away. There are some vids online made by Tentipi showing the basic process of setting up. It really was as easy as they showed. Everyone, especially the gals liked the warmth of the wood stove. Our tent became the hangout and we could sit 5-6 people around the stove. The wife won't go camping without heat and some comforts and these big tents provide that. I asked her what she was saying in Norwegian, she was counting to 10 to keep from killing me for filming & teasing her. Pretty good sport. Overall very happy with this gear. Didn't like the high costs of having one sent over from Europe. The high price tag of the tent/stove along with the shipping and duty are a killer. A UK based website that will sell & ship a Tentipi to USA addresses is Nordicoutdoor. They handled our sale and shipment brilliantly.

In the beginning there was no tepee. Then there was one. It blew down and we moved it. It still stands in its location on the plateau. Five more tepees now live on the property in various places: the Plateau tepee, Serenity Dippity Pond Tepee, The winterized tipi, Sedge Meadow tipi, Alida's tepee near the beaver dam and now the Crystal Palace which is made of glass.

Ammo box wood burning stove and final test.

Ammo box wood burning stove was finally completed. Tested on the river saw the wood stove. The stove was installed in a small tipi tent. Outside the snow fell. Congratulations to the plane flying in the sky. It is a joke.. The wood stove is warm enough to heat the tent.
