Diagrams at End of the Road 2011.avi

Sam Genders with Diagrams at the recent End of the Road Festival 2011 A packed Tipi Tent for Diagrams, difficult to find a better description than 'wonderful'. Sorry, missed out that bit of Sam's banter about requesting some money for the special effects budget, he got £15 quid and spent it on some balloons and bubbles, money well spent. Apologies for the crap vid sound all a bit rushed, camera too close to the bins.

You can make a tepee shelter using your tarp sheet or a couple of emergency blankets or a combination of them. You will need three poles. Lay them down and tie them together at one end. Then stand it straight and form a tripod. Tie a cord around the centre of your tarp sheet and drape it around the tripod. Wrap the sheet around the tripod leaving a small opening between two of the three poles for an entrance. You could also make a similar tepee without any poles. Just tie the knot at the centre of the tarp sheet and hang it from the branch of a tree. Use tent pegs to secure the bottom of the sheet in the ground. Deer Tick - Daydreaming at End of The Road Festival 2010 in a power cut!

about 10 minutes into Deer Tick's set, the Tipi Tent went pitch black and the amps cut out. So they decided to play the rest of the set acoustically, and this was the first song they played. Amazing! Its called Daydreaming

Great Deal From AMAZON US is.gd Customer Reviews: "This teepee has worked out great for us! We bought the 7.5' Teepee over a month ago with the intention of using it as our 2yr old's bed, and so far, it has worked out great.Photo: [...]On the floor of the teepee, we are using his former crib mattress for him to sleep on, and we are using the body pillow we bought when my wife was pregnant to keep the form of the teepee wide and rounded. We are thinking of getting another body pillow for the other side of the teepee, just to make it symmetrical on the inside. The pillows help to keep the legs extended at their widest web.It is roomy on the inside. We can comfortable sit in the doorway and read him books while he is in bed. And in the mornings, he now plays in the teepee for about 45mins to an hour (win on the weekend !) before wanting to emerge from his camp. The construction is solid. I feel comfortable letting him and his friends run in and out of there without worry of it falling down. The poles are solid wood, with a connecting piece in the middle. Each rod is fed through a concealed sleeve that is stitched into the side of the teepee. I do wish there were rubber stoppers on the bottom ends of the poles. That might help to keep it expanded at full width (hence the need for the pillows).I am glad we got the 7.5' teepee, because I was considering the 6' one for fear that the diameter would be too wide. Currently, it is no greater than 5.75', or the length of a crib ...

Allo Darlin' - The Polaroid Song [Live at End of the Road Festival 2010]

This is a Allo Darlin' performing "The Polaroid Song" at the End of the Road Festival on September 10, 2010 in the Tipi Tent.

I spent saturday night in a tepee, and they are brilliant. You can sit by the fire, enjoying the light, warmth and atmosphere. You can then cook your dinner, and relax, lie back and look at the stars. This particular tepee is carpeted, and has been in place for 9 years with no significant issues. They seem to me to be a far superior design to the modern tent, where you can't cook or heat the inside, and for light your options are far less atmospheric, not to mention the stars...
