envirosponsible.com Someone gave me a canvas tent. I cut the rubber floor off and used a centre pole to see how well it would work as a winter camping tipi. I'll reinforce it at the apex (top) so that it can be used with either a centre pole or by hanging. The corners will be rounded too. The door and window are already functional, and staking it down is easy. It needs a stove jack and it's ready to keep 2-3 people toasty on the coldest Canadian nights.
