first use of the Kifaru 8man tipi and woodstove

The first clip I shot when I set up the tent in the backyard for the first time. Then it cuts to a brief clip of the stove in use for the first time while camping at Lake Sonoma. The third clip shows the interior of the tent and us eating breakfast the next morning.

Sometimes referred to as a wigwam, a tipi is a conical tent type dwelling that is traditionally made of animal skins and wooden poles, traditionally tipis were used by nomadic tribes and sedentary tribal dwellers (when hunting) of the Great Plains of North America. This short video shows the unusual site of tipis being erected on 'The Acre' a grass field in front of the James Graham Building on Leeds Met's Headingley Campus. The tipis will form part of the Graduation 2012 celebrations and infrastructure by housing Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts, which is a partnership between Chef Jamie Oliver and fresh food expert Nigel Harris. The tipis will be in place for just over a week.
